
Voyant has announced the appointment of Dr Lyudmil Vladimirov as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), reinforcing the company’s technical leadership as it continues to advance cutting-edge sensing and data fusion capabilities.
Dr Vladimirov brings deep expertise in data fusion, target tracking, and advanced estimation techniques, with a strong foundation in both academic research and applied system development. He has held roles as a Senior Research Associate in Data Fusion at the University of Liverpool, where his work focused on Bayesian inference, multi-sensor tracking, and real-time algorithm development for complex environments.
His research spans particle filtering, machine learning, and multi-target tracking, with contributions to international conferences and open-source frameworks for state estimation and sensor fusion.
In his role as CTO, Dr Vladimirov will lead Voyant’s technology strategy, overseeing the development and deployment of advanced tracking algorithms, AI-enabled sensing systems, and scalable data fusion architectures to support defence, aerospace, and security applications.
