Voyant announced the development of its advanced counter-uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) solution, designed to support the protection of critical national infrastructure and military platforms against evolving aerial threats.
Voyant’s solution is built as a modular, autonomous sensing and tracking subsystem, enabling scalable counter-UAS capabilities with minimal integration requirements. The system is designed to enhance existing sensor performance through advanced probabilistic tracking and signal processing techniques, delivering improved detection sensitivity, robust multi-target tracking, and engagement-quality cueing data for integration with both electronic and kinetic effector systems.
Engineered for flexibility, the subsystem can operate as a standalone capability or as part of a wider, interoperable system-of-systems architecture. Its multi-modal sensor fusion approach enables enhanced situational awareness, allowing operators to detect, track, and respond to threats more effectively across complex operational environments.
In parallel, the architecture underpinning the solution is adaptable for broader counter-uncrewed threats, including maritime domains, supporting future extension into counter-UUV and counter-AUV applications for the protection of critical maritime infrastructure.
“With the growing threat to critical national infrastructure and military platforms, Voyant has developed a software-driven capability that significantly enhances existing layered defence systems. By improving detection and tracking performance, we are providing commanders with more time and better information to make critical decisions across domains—whether protecting a warship, a land platform, or vital infrastructure such as energy facilities.” James Norwood, CEO of Voyant, commented:
As uncrewed systems become more accessible and increasingly sophisticated, effective countermeasures are becoming essential. Voyant’s latest offering reflects the company’s continued commitment to delivering mission-critical technologies that enhance security, resilience, and operational effectiveness in an increasingly contested world.
